The Art of Sensual Movement

In this class we will look at the history and purpose of sensual dancing and movement.  We will learn basic dance techniques taken from ballet, jazz, burlesque, modern and belly dancing and then incorporate it into a routine that we will finish on week six of the class.  Each week, we will open and close with a brief sharing circle to create boundaries and trust; there will be group learning in the class and then there will be personal study assigned to do before the next class the following week. The goal of the program is to seek and find sensuality within yourself by connecting to your body through dance/movement. Please dress comfortably and wear socks or dance slippers.
