Ancestor Healing w/ Yoga & Reiki

“We can all receive the gifts of our unique ancestry and harness them to forge a path of joy and healing.”

 I will lead you through a Restorative / Yin yoga sequence to honor and heal our ancestors.  We will be holding each yoga pose for anywhere between 3-7 minutes by doing this we allow the body to release any memories or stored trauma, including those that have been passed through our DNA by our ancestors.  While you are resting in each pose I will go around and utilize the ancient healing power of Reiki to help remove any blocks and increase relaxation. We will end class with breath work and then a guided meditation. You are welcome to bring pictures of family members that you would like to honor or send healing energy to. 

For the breathwork and guided meditation bring anything that will help you get really cozy and relax. I have blankets and bolsters but you may want your own.  If you would like to bring a picture or something to honor your ancestor(s) I will have an alter set up.
